Staples vs. Tape
Are you trying to decide which method is best for you and need some help? Don't just take anyone's word for it, watch the video and consider the cold, hard facts! It's an ol' fashioned showdown of Staples VS. Tape, which one will prevail?
Do you want a box that is safe in all types of weather?
Our pick:
Why?
The weather is something no one can control. Yet one thing you can control is how your box will hold up when bad weather strikes. With staples even if a box gets soaked, staples will hold it together. If your box will be shipped in a container, where temperatures can reach high levels, stapling remains completely secure. Stapling also doesn’t impose any special requirements. As opposed to tape, stapling is entirely unaffected by damp, dusty, cold or hot conditions. A stapled box is always a safe package.
Do you want a box that is “tamper-proof”?
Our Pick:
Why?
While this is not always a guarantee of complete safety, stapling does make it obvious if someone has tampered with a package. Stapling also makes it difficult to re-seal a package without detection. While tape is more easily re-sealed making it more of a target for theft.
Do you want a box that is clear of obstructions where your graphics and labeling can be clearly seen?
Our Pick:
Why?
You are proud of your labels and logos! So show them off! Much time and effort are spent on designing the print on a package since it represents the company’s profile, both in shape and color. Tape obscures these designs and logos which makes them unrecognizable. But with a stapled box none of this information is lost! No part is covered, the sides are clear and neat so you can show off your box.
